Uncertainty Evaluation Humidity
During this 2 day course the special problems that calibration laboratories have in calculating the uncertainty for relative humidity measurements will be examined. You will gain your knowledge in this field through calculation exercises and discussing the results of the exercises. A prerequisite for following this course is satisfactory completion of the Basics of Metrology, Relative Humidity and Uncertainty Assessment Courses.
Uncertainty Evaluation Temperature
In our practical laboratory you will, in small groups, carry out thermometer calibration experiments and use the results in an uncertainty “budget ”. You will learn to do full uncertainty calculations in measurements from calibration laboratory practice, applying the tabled structure that is required from calibration laboratories in Europe.
A prerequisite for following this course is satisfactory completion of the Basics of Metrology, Temperature and Thermometers, Uncertainty Assessment and Temperature Measurement and Thermometer Measurement Courses.
Continuation temperature measurement and thermometer calibration
Your knowledge of thermometry will increase in two days. Uncertainty account, focused on thermometers, is also treated bright and clearly. This course is structured as blended learning, combined learning: you learn via e-learning on our platform on the internet, you conduct supervised experiments and you learn in groups with many opportunities for questions.
(If and when an instrument should be calibrated)
This course offers help if you are responsible for the measurement or calibration system in your company, regardless of what you want to have calibrated. You learn to determine yourself which instruments need to be calibrated and how often, but especially also which instruments do not need to be calibrated. You learn the background of, and the rules regarding "acceptable traceability". This course consists of an e-learning module and a test module and can optionally be expanded with a workshop on location.
